Demonstrating our commitment to employee wellbeing

We recently hosted the first Newell Brands Week of Happiness to celebrate our commitment to employee wellbeing and promote the launch of our new home fragrance brand, Friday Collective™. Over 80 “Happiness Ambassadors” planned 200 wellness- and happiness-centered events in 50 Newell locations across 31 countries, including positive psychology seminars, mindfulness webinars, virtual yoga classes, art activities, volunteer events, “happy” hours and so much more.

Newell employees used Newell Now, our employee app, to share images and videos of the fun unfolding throughout the week, participate in product giveaways and to express excitement about the activations happening at their locations.

Recapping the Newell Brands Week of Happiness

The week concluded with the launch of our new speaker series, Newell Talks, which serves as a resource for employees to grow professionally by hearing from world-renowned speakers. Our first speaker was 5-time New York Times best-selling author and happiness expert, Gretchen Rubin, who shared ways we can develop and apply a personalized framework to create happier, more productive and creative lives.
