Women’s employee resource group, RAY, makes an impact on employees through educational content, virtual panels and more.

In honor of Women’s History Month, RAY, Newell Brands’ Employee Resource Group (ERG) for women and allies, shared a variety of content to celebrate women’s history and the many talented women who work at Newell Brands. The group spotlighted its outstanding members, hosted virtual fitness classes to promote wellbeing among women, and facilitated an engaging panel on intersectionality. We also created a video starring Newell women who work in engineering and traditionally male-dominated fields in honor of our partnership with Society of Women Engineers.

Employees showed support for women in the workplace by joining the #ChooseToChallenge movement on International Women’s Day by sharing photos on the employee app and social media. The #ChooseToChallenge movement aims to challenge gender bias and inequality by choosing to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements.

We were proud to support this movement to help create a more inclusive world and show our commitment to challenging inequality.

We will continue to create space for and dedicate resources to advancing women in the workplace, developing solutions for women and underrepresented groups and equipping allies to advocate for change.
