Volunteers packed meals for those in need

For the second year, Newell Brands employees and the Newell Brands Charitable Foundation partnered with 9/11 Day to recognize the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Employees from our Chicago, IL and Atlanta, GA offices volunteered at 9/11 Day events to pack meals for those at risk of hunger and contributed to a record-breaking 2.7 million meals packed across the nation.

The Newell Brands Charitable Foundation also made a charitable donation to support 9/11Day’s incredible work.

9/11 Day is the nonprofit that founded and annually organizes the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Their mission is to pay tribute to those who died or were injured in the terrorist attacks and to the brave individuals who rose in service in response to the tragedy through a worldwide day of unity centered on acts of kindness, volunteerism and service.
