Newell Brands’ President & CEO, Ravi Saligram, was recently named one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2021 Most Admired CEOs. The publication recognized him and other honorees at a live awards event at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre in Atlanta, GA. The Atlanta Business Chronicle also featured Ravi in a Q&A highlighting his CEO leadership style, how he drives shareholder value and more.
“I have frequently likened the job of a CEO to an orchestra conductor. Your job is not to actually play any instrument,” shared Ravi on leadership. “Your job is to make sure every chair is filled by the right musician, you rehearse (practice) frequently, your job is to ensure everyone plays their part and in the end you have a melodic symphony, a cohesive, integrated whole that makes the audience give your orchestra, (your team) a standing ovation.”
