Tracy Platt is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Newell Brands. She is a mission-driven leader with over 25 years of experience in HR leadership and various business transformation-related roles. Tracy leads our talent, organization, and culture capabilities and is focused on evolving our talent management and career development efforts, ensuring performance-driven rewards programs, and positioning Newell as a best-in-class employer with a meaningful employee value proposition.

Before joining Newell Brands, Tracy served as Executive Vice President and CHRO at Cerner, responsible for organization design and development, integrated talent management, total rewards, career development and culture. Before Cerner, Tracy was Vice President of Human Resources at Medtronic, where she served as an integration leader during Medtronic’s acquisition of Covidien. At Medtronic, she held multiple HR leadership roles, including for its global operations organization, and drove an operating model transformation for the enterprise. Tracy also held HR leadership positions at Cardinal Health, Lands’ End and GE Healthcare.

Tracy earned a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Kansas State University and holds professional certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, ESG, executive coaching, change management and organization development.
