Melanie Huet is President, Brand Management & Innovation at Newell Brands and leads the global Brand Management, Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, Communication Design, Innovation, Insights and Packaging functions. In this capacity, Melanie sets the overall brand management vision for the enterprise and establishes new tools and frameworks for increasing consumer engagement and driving conversion throughout the consumer journey. She leads the innovation process and partners closely with Segment leaders to deliver profitable growth via breakthrough innovation.


Prior to joining Newell Brands, Melanie led the transformation of Serta Simmons Bedding from sales-led to consumer-led as their first Chief Marketing Officer. She was elevated to EVP, Chief Commercial Officer where she led enterprise revenue and transformed the sales organization.


Melanie has over 25 years of experience in commercial leadership roles at public and private equity backed organizations like Unilever, Kimberly-Clark and Kraft Heinz, where she delivered turnarounds of several iconic brands. Melanie holds an MBA from the University of Rochester in New York and a BA in Advertising and German from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota. She serves as an independent Board Director for Quad/Graphics, Inc., a global marketing experience company.
