Robert “Rob” Posthauer serves as President, Home & Commercial – Commercial. In this role, Rob is focused on expanding distribution and enhancing execution for iconic brands within the global Commercial portfolio, which includes Rubbermaid Commercial Products®, Rubbermaid® (Organization), Quickie®, Mapa Professional® and Spontex®. He also leads the company’s enterprise-wide business-to-business (B2B) capabilities.

With more than 25 years of experience as a business and industry leader, Rob brings a customer-first mindset and a proven track record of driving innovation, high quality and operational excellence in retail and B2B environments. Before joining Newell, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Merchandising at Lowe’s Companies, where he oversaw Private Brands, Product Development, Quality, and Global Sourcing. He also held a series of leadership roles at General Electric Appliances, culminating in his position as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Prior to his current appointment at Newell, Rob led the Rubbermaid Commercial Products business as Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Rob’s ability to build strong partnerships and deliver impact with customers has been recognized with Grainger’s 2024 Executive Contact and Vendor of the Year Award. He is also a member of the ISSA Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from Purdue University.
