In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, one of the world’s largest conservation foundations, Newell Brands will plant 15,000 trees across the United States in 2021. These trees will help recover several forested lands across the country which have been devastated by wildfires and years of unsustainable practices.

Near our global headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, we are providing reforestation assistance for Georgia’s receding forested lands and natural ecosystems, specifically the Georgia longleaf pine which was once the dominant tree species in the south. The abundance of the species has decreased due to non-sustainable timber harvest, clearing of land for development and exclusion of fire. The restoration project will focus on aiding landowners who are committed to restoring longleaf pine on their lands. We are also supporting reforestation efforts in the Mississippi Alluvial Valley and the Angeles National Forest in California.
