During the first week of September, the Rubbermaid Commercial and Consumer Solutions' Huntersville office mobilized employee volunteers within the communities of Huntersville, Charlotte and Davidson, NC to make an impact in the areas of hunger and education.

Over 80% of the division’s Huntersville office employees partnered with regional nonprofits to help 2,000 people by preparing hundreds of meals, beautifying community spaces and equipping local students with 600 school supply kits.

Employees collectively spent over 4,900 hours volunteering at Classroom Central – Charlotte, NC; Ada Jenkins Center – Davidson, NC; Angels & Sparrows Soup Kitchen – Huntersville, NC; Second Harvest Food Bank – Charlotte, NC; and Urban Ministry Center – Charlotte NC.
